But this isn’t really a story about the post-apocalypse.

The Story
In a drought-ravaged wasteland, a family of outcasts discovers a body in a dried-up creek bed — and a secret that could change the fate of everyone around them.
As war, betrayal, and a mysterious prophecy close in, they must decide what they’re willing to sacrifice for one another.

The Team
Dakota Loesch
WRITER / DIRECTOR
Award-winning actor, screenwriter, immersive theater performer, and longtime touring punk musician. Writer, star, and producer of the dark-horse indie hit Anchorage — winner of the Seymour Cassel Award for Outstanding Performance at the 2021 Oldenburg International Film Festival and Best Screenplay at 2022 New York Film Week, with 10 awards and 11 nominations at festivals worldwide. The Anchorage screenplay is a requested addition to the permanent collection of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Science Library.
Amy Tsang
PRODUCER / LEAD ACTOR
Trilingual Chinese American actress known for her enigmatic presence and emotionally layered performances. Her career began in Hong Kong with Television Broadcasts Limited; she appears as Ensign Rane in Star Wars: The Acolyte and in the season two finale of Kung Fu. Her leading roles include Silent River — earning a Best Actress nomination at the Next Generation Indie Film Awards — and Love Shot, both distributed by Gravitas Ventures.
